Animal Encounters
Daisy's Animal Friends -
Animals For Wellbeing
Daisy’s Animal Friends - Animals for Wellbeing is a fun, educational animal encounter and therapy visiting service with animals that can be handled, such as guinea pigs, reptiles and invertebrates.
We can visit places such as care homes, nursing homes, hospices, carers groups, support groups, day centres, friendship groups, recovery centres, schools, parties, general workplaces and your own home. We offer small group and one to one sessions.
Interacting with an animal has been proven to have an overall positive effect on health and improve mood and quality of life. Helping to reduce stress, anxiety and depression whilst lowering blood pressure and enhancing wellbeing.
~ ‘Wellbeing in the workplace’ ~ Do you and your colleagues deserve a little treat? No matter what your workplace, me and the gang can come and set up in a quiet corner and you can take a little time out and interact with the animals. Reducing stress, boosting moral and making them feel valued.
Take a look at the 'Our Animals' section to see our animal friends.
We operate within a 40 mile radius of our location in North Sheffield, S35.
